Binding Spell
by Sierra SilverOwl
I have found this quite effective as a binding spell when someone is
being problematic in my life. I used it on intrusive individuals who
are bordering on stalking behaviors.
Tools necessary:
Popsicle stick/tongue depresser
6-8 large, thick rubber bands
Indelible Ink Pen
Consider the stick a sort of poppet. Write the name of the individual who is
stalking/bothering you on both sides with an ink pen. Then, focusing on that
individual, begin wrapping the stick up firmly in one rubber band after another
until it is "bound." I have said things to it such as, "Feel constrained with
you think of (insert name)." etc.
I have no problem in binding someone who is being threatening or
causing harm. I also have no problem in binding using an "ice spell."
Banish Obstacles Spell
by Therese Francis
When something is in the way of what you want, light a white taper candle while
saying:
"I let go of all hinderances,
fears and reversals;
And hereby receive to myself
[
list some specifics] now."
Meditate on what you want while the candle burns down.
A Spell to Break the Powers of a Spell
If you believe that a spell has been cast against you, place a large black
candle in the cauldron (or a large black bowl). The candles must be tall enough
to extend a few inches above the cauldron's rim. Affix the candle to the bottom
of the cauldron with warmed beeswax or the drippings of another black candle so
that it will not tip over.
Fill the cauldron to the rim with fresh water, without wetting the candle's
wick. An inch or two should remain above the water. Deeply breathe, meditate,
clear your mind and light the candle. Visualize the suspected spell's power as
residing within the candle's flame. Sit in quiet contemplation of the candle
and visualize the power flowing and growing within the candle's flame. (Yes,
the power against you) As the candle burns down, it's flame will eventually
sputter and go out as it contacts the water. As soon as the flame has been
extinguished by the water, the spell will be dispersed.
Break your visualization of the spell's power; see it explode into dust,
becoming impotent.
Pour the water into a hole in the ground, a lake or stream. Bury the candle. It
is done.
Reverse a Candle Spell Cast Against You
Do the following 3 nights in a row at sunset. Light 2 black candles.
Say:
In the name of the Gods and all ye spirits, In the name of (your patron God)
and the light and the dark of the Gods of the Universe. Remove this curse and
pain from my heart. And whoever shall be sending this curse against let him or
her suffer the same. Let the pain they have caused me to return to them 3 fold.
Burn the 2 candles completely every night.
A Simple Un-Hexing spell
By Vlpes
It is a common misconception that MAGIK is a complex and intricate business and
that spells need special equipment to be sucsessful, nothing could be further
from the truth, although many spells do need to be complex by their very
nature, simple can often be best. With this in mind here is a simple Un-Hexing
spell that I myself have used many time with great success.
YOU WILL NEED:
A Glass of fresh Milk.
2oz of Salt.
4 Saucers
An Onion.
A Parsnip.
A clean Knife.
This spell needs to be performed when the moon is full, or on the first Tuesday
after full moon.
Rub salt on to the knife to consecrate and purify it, then do the same with the
saucers.
Sprinkle 5 pinches of salt into the glass of milk, then with the forefinger of
your right hand stir the milk whilst chanting the following incantation.
From Salt to Earth,
From Earth to grass,
From grass to fodder,
From fodder to milk,
From milk to curd,
From curd to Curse,
And back again,
Return the worst.
Take the onion and cut it into quarters (do not peel it!) put the four pieces
one in each saucer, pour on each piece 5 table spoons of the charmed milk,
cover the glass of milk and place it in the fridge. Now place the saucers in
each corner of the room in your home that you feel most under attack. (if all
feel the same place them in your bedroom) Every evening at sunset drain the old
milk off into a cup (pour this into the Earth near grass if you can) and top up
the onions with one tablespoon of the charmed milk from the fridge. After 5
days the Hex will be removed and you may throw out the onions.
If you happen to know the name of the person who has placed the Hex you should
carve their name into the Parsnip, place it into a separate bowl, each evening
pour the old milk from the onions on to the parsnip, at the end of 5 Days bury
the parsnip in the Earth and pour any milk that is left on to it. By the lore
of nature (cosmic law call it what you will) this action will cause the Curse
to rebound and bind them so that any further Hexs they cast on you will fail.
Untangling Spell
by: Cerridwen Iris Shea
Get nine ribbons, cords, or lengths of yarn, each in a different color. Place
them on a cloth and mix them up. Take a deep breath and say:
"Lachesis, Clotho, Atropos, Fates Three,
Help me to unravel this mystery.
As I organize these strands in a row,
May my life make sense to know."
Untangle all nine threads and place them in a row. Take three, knot them off,
and braid them. Repeat with three more, then three more. You should end up with
three braided cords. Braid these cords together and carry it with you. Your
answers will come in surprising and often beautiful ways.
Spell for a Home During a Lightening Storm
From Scott Cunningham's Earth Power
Light 1 white candle and 1 yellow candle and put them in a place of importance
in the home (a magickal or religious altar is ideal).
Walk through the house room by room, chanting these words until you have
visited every room, closet, cupboard and entrance at least once:
"Mistress of the gentle rain,
Mistress of the storm,
Guard against the ill and bane,
Shield me from harm.
And while fire fly's through the air
And raindrops fiercely blast,
Keep my loved ones in your care.
'Till the storm has passed.
Wind, wind, guard my kin.
Flame, Flame, do not maim
Rain, rain, quickly wane.
Earth, earth, guard my worth."
Ancient Runic Spell
Upon This Candle I will write,
What I receive of Thee this night
Grant what I wish You to do,
I dedicate this Rite to You.
I trust that You will grant this Boon,
O Lovely Goddess of the Moon.
I call Earth to bond my Spell
Air speed its travel well,
Fire gives It Spirit from Above,
Water quench my Spell with Love.
Kitchen Witch Purification Spell
by Yasmine Galenorn
No time to cast a circle and perform a long purification ritual? No problem!
Into a large enamel saucepan, add: two minced large onions, five minced cloves
of garlic, two tablespoons dried rosemary, two sliced lemons, and two
tablespoons of crushed black peppercorns. Cover with three quarts of water and
bring to a rolling boil. Let the steam permeate the house, carry the pan
carefully through the house into each room so that the steam can filter into
every nook and cranny. When this is finished, open the windows and let the wind
blow through to take away the last remnants of day-to-day tension and stress.
Gremlin Banishment Spell (for Washer and Dryer)
Technological advances have gotten ahead of magic in many ways; there are few
specific spells to protect modern machines. This is bad because gremlins just
love machines. They get inside and cause all manner of mayhem. Gremlins are
especially fond of appliances like washers and dryers, where they chew holes in
your clothes, add inexplicable spots, and pilfer socks, leaving you with
unmatched pairs.
To banish gremlins from your washer and dryer, first tie a long sock into three
knots. Then add nine pinches of salt to the wash water. Wash and dry the load
as usual.
When you take the clothes out of the dryer, check the sock. If all the knots
are untied, then all the gremlins are gone; and if any of the knots remain,
there are still some gremlins left. Repeat the charm as needed to banish any
remaining gremlins.

Guardian Spell
-Author unknown
A spell to give strength and protection to your home and family, and to help
connect you with the natural world. This spell should be repeated quarterly:
Samhain - Imbolc - Beltane Lughnassadh. These are the traditional main
sabbats or meeting of witches and are the ideal times for casting off the old
and welcoming in the new, as well as for celebrating the cycle of the seasons.
Cast your spell at these important crossroads in the year to uplift your
spirits and encourage a sense of unity in your home.
Ingredients:
Fire or 5 Red Candles to Represent Fire
Greenery and Flowers Appropriate to the Time of Year
Symbols of You or Your Family
A Cup of Spring Water
If you have a hearth use it as your center; otherwise use the lighted candle or
make a small fire in the yard. Go out as a family to gather the greenery and,
as you do, swap stories of any associations that are connected with your
choices and give thanks for the earth's gifts. Each of the sabbats has its own
"sigil" (symbol) and you should fashion your greenery of you and/or your family
and then stand around it joining hands for a moment's silence.
Pass the water clockwise to each person in the circle, taking a sip and asking
for a blessing in the coming quarter year. Leave the sigil in your home for
twenty-four hours and then hang it on the door of the main entrance to the
house.
Magick Mirror Spell
~Source Unknown~
Find or buy a small mirror, no bigger than your hand. One of those old
fashioned ones that came with a brush and comb work well. Gather also some
water, salt, bowl or cauldron, and a black fabric bag or a piece of cloth.
On a Full Moon, gather the ingredients and go outside if weather permits. Light
some candles to work by and cast a circle about you.
Hold the Mirror in your hand and say:
"Mirror, Mirror, Starbright
Reflect the magick here tonight."
Dip the mirror into a solution of the water and salt and then slowly take it
out. Hold it up to the sky and bring it down to where you can see the Moon in
the glass. Say:
"Magick Mirror, Shine your light,
Reflect the magick here this night."
Set the mirror upon the ground and allow it to drip-dry. Place it in the black
bag or wrap it in the cloth. The Mirror is charged with the powers of the Moon.
To use the mirror:
Look into it and say this or another:
"Magick Mirror, Shine your light,
Reflect the magick, here on this night.
Allow me to see past the silver glass,
and divine the wish that I now ask."
Calling Fairies Spell
Between Beltane and Midsummer's Eve, do this outdoors, preferably near water.
Gather some St. John's Wort to guard against fairy mischief, and some food or
milk. Cast a circle by sprinkling St. John's Wort on the ground around you.
Stay within the circle, and repeat the following:
"Goddess Dana, in whose name I sing,
People of the hill and fairy ring
May your world be open to me.
I come in peace-so mote it be."
The ethereal fairies are as curious about us as we are of them. Enjoy their
energy whether or not they reveal themselves. Leave a bit of food or milk to
show your gratitude to them.
Dragon Spell
D.J.Conway
It's suitable for long-term projects or dreams that will take time to produce
the results you want. Simple, effective, and catches the attention and
cooperation of dragons.
You will need a small basket or bowl and one or more egg-shaped stones. If you
like, you can line the basket or bowl with cloth, dried herbs, or fluffy
material, such as cotton or wool. Put the bowl in a place where you will see it
every day.
Cleanse each of the stones in running water (tap/jug to plug hole will do),then
carefully dry them. Move them through incense smoke for further cleansing. Hold
the stones in your hands and chant:
"Dragon eggs of power and might,
Filled with energy pure and bright,
Bring forth my wish. My desire fill.
O Dragons, help me. This is my will."
Put the egg-stones in the bowl and thank the dragons. Each day turn each of
thestones as a dragon would turn its eggs in its nest and think of the desired
goal. At each Full Moon, hold the eggs and repeat the chant. When the desire
hasmanifested, re-cleanse the egg-stones in water and incense smoke to prepare
themfor a new use. Be sure to thank your dragons for their aid by adding a
smallstone to their private collection in the dragon ritual bowl.
